I am incredibly honored to share that Kendall Bullock Doula Services has been voted Platinum Winner for Midwives & Doulas in the 2026 Community Votes Longmont awards.

Running a doula business has never been about awards or recognition. It has always been about supporting families during one of the most important and transformative times in their lives. Every consultation, every prenatal visit, every late-night phone call, every labor, and every postpartum check-in is an opportunity to help parents feel informed, supported, and confident in their journey.

That is why this recognition means so much.

Community Votes is driven by local residents, which means this award came directly from the people and families in our community. Knowing that so many of you took the time to nominate and vote for my business is both humbling and deeply appreciated.

Why I Became a Doula

When families invite a doula into their birth experience, they are placing an incredible amount of trust in that relationship. My goal has always been to provide compassionate, evidence-based support that helps parents make informed decisions while feeling heard and respected.

Every birth story is different. Some families are planning a hospital birth, others are preparing for an un-medicated birth, and some simply want a knowledgeable support person in their corner. No matter the path, I believe every family deserves support that is tailored to their unique needs and goals.

This Award Belongs to the Families I Serve

The truth is that a doula's work is only possible because families choose to open their lives and experiences to us.

I have had the privilege of supporting first-time parents, growing families, VBAC journeys, inductions, cesarean births, postpartum recovery, and everything in between. Watching parents discover their strength and confidence is one of the most rewarding parts of this work.

This award reflects the trust that families have placed in me, and for that I am incredibly grateful.
